NEW ADDITION: Here’s To You, Theo Robinson… Experienced Striker Signs!

Bromsgrove Sporting are thrilled to announce the signing of experienced striker Theo Robinson, who will wear the Number 10 shirt for us this season.

The 35 year-old, who has been capped by Jamaica, has a wealth of football league experience, counting Southend United, Huddersfield Town, Derby County, Doncaster Rovers, Port Vale and Bradford City amongst some of his former clubs. He has most recently been plying his trade at then-National League North side Gloucester City.

On joining Sporting, Theo comments: “I’m delighted to get this deal done and I’m very much looking forward to playing for the club.

“The gaffer has brought some talented young players to the club, especially in forward areas, and I’m excited to be able to help them with my knowledge and experience.”

Manager Paul Smith commented: “Theo has had a fantastic career to date and his experience will be invaluable for our young forwards.

“They can learn so much from him and, added to that, he is still a top striker who I’m sure will score important goals for us this season.

“Paperwork pending, he will be available to make his debut tomorrow night against Stratford.”

We hope you will join us in welcoming Theo to Sporting!
