Bromsgrove Sporting began their pre-season campaign in fine style, via a 5-0 victory at fellow Worcestershire side Stourport Swifts.

Bromsgrove's first goal of pre-season was scored by one of their many new summer additions - Ollie Harrison. An own goal doubled the lead before quickfire goals at the end of the first half from a trialist and Billy Shaw gave the Rouslers a four goal lead going into the interval.

The scoring was complete seven minutes into the second half, as striker Jake Jervis netted.

The opener came 19 minutes into the game, as Harrison headed home at the back post from a corner.

The second goal came 15 minutes later, courtesy of an own goal, as a Swifts defender diverted a Hayden Reeves cross past his keeper and into the net.

The 43rd minute saw the third scored, and Reeves was involved again, as a ball into a trialist was slotted home in style.

60 seconds later, Shaw made it four, as he lobbed the keeper with a delightfully taken finish.

The only game of the second half was scored by Jervis - he powered into the box from out wide and found the net with a tidy effort.
