Stourport Swifts 1 (Tuckley 5')
Bromsgrove Sporting 4 (Hall 3', 28' & 35' King 88')

Bromsgrove Sporting made it two wins from two pre-season matches on Friday evening, courtesy of a 4-1 victory at Stourport Swifts.

On a swelteringly hot evening at Walshes Meadow, the Sporting goals came via a first half hat trick from summer addition Kobe Hall and a late header from Reece King.

The opener came three minutes in; Tom Edge played in Billy Shaw, who had his shot saved before Hall was on hand to hammer home the rebound.

Swifts needed just two minutes to equalise though, as an accurate cross was headed home well by Craig Tuckley.

The Stourport attacker almost doubled his tally just a minute later, but Sporting stopper Adam Harrison saved his fierce effort in fine style.

Bromsgrove striker Luke Benbow headed a King cross wide in the 10th minute; 18 minutes later, his strike partner bagged his second - Hall's initial strike was blocked, but he latched onto the rebound and found the net well.

Hall attempted to chip the keeper in the 32nd minute but his effort went just over - the hat trick would eventually come three minutes later, with his shot from inside the area striking the post before going in.

Hall, who is embarking on his second spell with the Rouslers, almost notched up a fourth in the 40th minute, but his one-on-one effort was kept out by the keeper.

The second half was one of fewer chances; a Bromsgrove trialist took it around the keeper but hit the post with an open goal at his mercy in the 73rd minute, whilst King scored his goal in the 88th minute, heading home a pinpoint Jack Kelly corner.
