Redditch United 4 Bromsgrove Sporting 1.
Redditch continued their impressive pre-season against teams from lower down the pyramid with a comfortable win against their neighbours.
It was the home side that made the running from the start, when Phil Green got down the right and crossed for Joe Harris to make it 1-0 on two minutes.
Green went just wide with a half volley five minutes later.
Green was causing all sorts of problem down the left and crossed for Cameron Jones, who should have scored but turned his back on the ball and connected with the back of his head, sending it wide.
Lei Brown had a shot well saved by Grant Biddle on 37 minutes.
Harris half volleyed wide after good work by Jones and Alex Hickman side footed a corner by Jones wide on 38 minutes.
But five minutes before the break Sporting found themselves back in the game when Green tripped Danny Lismore in the box and Jamie Rogers scored from the spot.
But after the break the pattern of one way traffic continued and Green crossed low for Harris who should have scored on 50 minutes.
Four minutes later good work by Jones saw him square the ball for Brown to score.
Redditch's David Blenkinsopp held off the attentions of Spencer Hicks Kenwood on 58 minutes to score on 58 minutes.
And Joe Adams, coming on in the 58th minute, took just a minute to open his account with a great shot from 25 yards to make it 4-1.
For Sporting, Stuart hall should have done better with a chance on 73 minutes, and Biddle made three excellent saves in the closing stages to keep the score down.
