Lichfield City 0
Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (King-Harmes 42')

Bromsgrove Sporting made it four wins and clean sheets from as many pre-season games on Saturday, courtesy of a 1-0 win over Lichfield City.

A Callum King-Harmes strike in the 42nd minute proved to be the difference between the two sides on a rainy afternoon in Staffordshire.

Sporting's George Forsyth put his body on the line to block a 12th minute strike, whilst Shaquille Leachman-Whittingham headed over for the visitors midway through the first half.

Chances continued to come for Sporting, as a trialist had a strike saved from a promising position, Kieran Cook struck wide from a sharp angle and Aaron Bishop had a header cleared off the line.

The game's only goal came three minutes from half time, as King-Harmes found the back of the net from inside the box despite the keeper making contact with the ball.

Lichfield had a couple of good chances early in the second half, which included a shot from former Rousler Joe Haines that keeper Charlie Price saved smartly.

Reece King and Bishop were unable to make the most of headed efforts just shy of the hour mark. Up the other end, Lichfield had a header cleared off the line before Price had to be alert once more to steer a free kick away.

Another Bromsgrove trialist had a couple of chances late on in the game, the second of which was a free kick that was saved.
