Bromsgrove Sporting's unbeaten pre season continued as they comprehensively dispatched Midland Combination Premier outfit Walsall Wood 5-1 in a friendly at the Victoria Ground on Tuesday evening.
Sporting cult hero Chrisi Conway notched another goal for the Rouslers with an accurate header inside the box that pinged off the crossbar before going in.
New signing Chris Lloyd certainly stamped his mark on the game, with two finely taken efforts five minutes either side of the half time whistle, in what was an assured display.
Paul Smith's latest acquisitions didn't stop finding the net, as Tony Clarke headed home a looping ball whilst Sean Brain continued where he left off last season with a close range shot.
A late consolation penalty was put home by Walsall but it failed to put too much of a dampener on what was a fine night for a Sporting team who will certainly be setting their sights on that illusive league title this season
