Bromsgrove Sporting 8 (EIGHT - Doyle-Charles 7', Jervis 34', Harrison 45', Maye 71', Shaw 75', Trialist B 78' & 90+1', Charles 80')
Trefelin BGC 0 (Red Card 90+3')

Bromsgrove Sporting's first home pre-season encounter was won in emphatic fashion, as they demolished Welsh side Trefelin BGC.

The Rouslers were full of confidence after four friendly wins on the road beforehand, whilst Welsh Premier new boys Trefelin were playing their final pre-season game before commencing in the league on Friday evening at Colwyn Bay.

Goals from three players signed from Hednesford over the summer - Joe Doyle-Charles, Jake Jervis and Ollie Harrison - gave Sporting a commanding lead going into the interval.

The onslaught was far from over for the visitors, as five goals inside the final 20 minutes of the match gave Tim Flowers' men an incredible 8-0 victory - Simeon Maye, Billy Shaw and Jaden Charles all bagged, along with a brace-scoring trialist.

The opener came seven minutes in, as a Jervis shot that was saved ended up at the feet of Doyle-Charles, who slotted in from around 20 yards.

Jervis would have his goal in the 34rd minute, squeezing the ball between the post and the keeper's glove with a well timed strike.

The third came just before half time, as Harrison added to his pre-season scoring tally with a headed goal from a Chris Hussey corner.

Sporting would have to wait until the 71st minute for their fourth, as Maye placed the ball into the bottom corner from inside the area.

Shaw netted four minutes later, via a sumptuously struck effort that found the top corner from inside the box.

The trialist scored his first in the 78th minute - he had an effort saved moments before, but made no mistake this time around, as he netted from close range.

The seventh was scored in the 80th minute, as Jaden Charles powered the ball home into the bottom corner and the scoring was complete in the first minute of additional time, as the trialist took the ball around the keeper and slotted it into an empty net.

To add insult to injury for Trefelin, one of their players was sent off for dissent in the dying embers of the match.
