Bromsgrove Sporting made it two wins from as many games on Tuesday evening, with victory over Rushall Olympic.

Liam McAlinden gave the visitors the lead but, as with their season opener at Needham Market on Saturday, the Rouslers came from behind to claim all three points.

Hayden Reeves scored the equaliser and, also like Saturday, Jake Jervis scored from the penalty spot - this time in the 90th minute to ensure the Rouslers' 100% start to the new campaign.

The Pics took the lead 16 minutes in, as a superbly weighted pass from the lively Tyler Roberts found McAlinden inside the area, who duly slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

The lead was almost doubled five minutes later, but Luke Yates' overhead kick from close range flew over the bar.

Sporting did enjoy plenty of the ball in the remainder of the first half, but were unable to do much with it - a 28th minute ball into the box from Jervis was a good one, but no Bromsgrove player was able to get on the end of it.

Proceedings were levelled in the 62nd minute, as Chris Hussey's corner into the box caused all manner of problems for the Rushall defence, with the outcome being a backheeled effort from Reeves finding the goal.

Bromsgrove midfielder Simeon Maye narrowly missed the target with a pop from just over 20 yards with a little over 15 minutes of normal time remaining.

The introduction of Lamin Barrow off the bench a minute later turned the game on its head - his raw pace created plenty of problems for the away side's defenders, culminating in him winning a penalty in the 90th minute. Jervis stepped up to take it and sent former Sporting stopper Ollie Taylor the wrong way with a cool finish.

There was one final act in the game, with Rushall substitute Andre Wright having a shot from inside the area saved by the leg of Bromsgrove keeper Tony Breeden in the fifth minute of additional time.
