Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (King-Harmes 2')
Highgate United 1 (Muckley 6')
Two early goals were shared between Bromsgrove Sporting and Highgate United on Saturday afternoon, as the teams played out a 1-1 draw.
Callum King Harmes netted the opener in the 2nd minute - he made space for himself in the box before dispatching a deflected effort into the net.
Four minutes later, Ethan Muckley found himself one on one with Sporting stopper Ollie Taylor, a position from which he slotted home with ease.
Just shy of the half hour mark, a pinpoint Aaron Roberts cross into the area was met well by the head of Conor Tee, but he could only send it wide.
Tee had a chance six minutes into the second half, as he capped a marauding run with a fiercely struck effort from just over 20 yards. However, it was hit straight at Highgate stopper Reece Francis.
Highgate were the team who looked most like scoring thereafter, having a hatful of chances throughout the remainder of the half.
Their number 11, a trialist, tested Taylor with a couple of decent strikes before Connor Mooney had a close range header tipped over smartly by the Sporting keeper.
Ten minutes from time, Highgate's number 9, another trialist, took the ball around Taylor, but saw his effort from a tight angle cleared off the line by Roberts.
