the opposition

  • Pershore Town play in the Hellenic League Division One (Step 6 – Sporting play at Step 3). They are currently 10th of 17 teams, with 24 points from 18 games.
  • Their last three league results have been two losses and a win (the win being the most recent league match, a 3-0 home win over Malmesbury Vics, who are currently 12th).
  • They came through two rounds of the Smedley Crooke Cup in November. Firstly against Redditch Borough (2-2, 5-3 on pens) and then Warstones Wanderers (3-1).
  • In the previous round of the Worcestershire Senior Cup, they beat Lye Town (Midland Football League Premier Division – Step 5) 1-0 at home.

It’s the quarter final of the competition already, so we’re at the business end of the competition – silverware is a real possibility! To all those who are travelling to support us – thank you!
