MASCOT DAY: Under 9 Colts’ experience at Lowestoft match

At our league match versus Lowestoft Town on Saturday afternoon, the Under 9 Colts from our youth set-up enjoyed a mascots experience not to be forgotten prior to the game!

The Colts got to meet the first team players, talk to them and walk out with them as the teams came out, as well as meet numerous club officials, the match officials for the day and enjoy a training session on the pitch, led by Under 18s Floodlit manager, Alan Horton.

Under 9s coach Matt Hare commented: “From all the parents, coaches and, of course, the U9 (Sunday team) players, we would like to say a huge thank you for the hospitality shown to us on Saturday at our Mascot experience day.

“The lads loved the tour, with a special mention to both Alan and Maria Murphy (Colts Welfare officer), who provided a wonderful experience for the team.

“Their efforts are much appreciated in not only helping this day run smoothly, but also all the other Mascot days during the season so far.”

We are extremely pleased that the lads enjoyed our 6-0 win and we look forward to welcoming our next bunch of mascots!
