LADIES & VETERANS TEAMS: Results And Fixtures

The following is an update on Sunday’s results for our Ladies and Veterans Teams, plus news of both of their respective next fixtures.

LADIES TEAM

  • It was a great result for our ladies on Sunday, drawing 1-1 with Worcester City Development.
  • Bromsgrove deservedly went one nil up, but Worcester bounced back to equalise just after half time.
  • Millie Seager scored the girl, whilst Kasia Webb was Player of the Match.
  • Manager Alan Horton commented: “It was a great battle from both sides. I believe we were possibly denied a late penalty but, all in all, a draw was a fair result.”
  • The Ladies play the reverse fixture versus Worcester, on Sunday 12th December, at the Victoria Ground. Kick off is 2:00, entry is free and the bar is open! This will be the Ladies’ last game of the year too!

VETERANS TEAM

  • After a weekend off, The Veterans won 2-0 on Sunday against Coleshill Veterans in the County Cup, on a very difficult pitch. Goals came from Matty Wynn and the prolific Junior Hewitt.
  • The Veterans are at home to Hampton this Sunday, at the Victoria Ground. Kick off is 10:30, entry is free and the bar is open!

NOTE: These games are both weather permitting – keep an eye on our social media/website if these games are called off. If they are on, show both teams your support, as they embark on what have been brilliant seasons so far!
