COWLEY RETURNS: Club’s all-time top scorer is a Rousler again!

Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce the return of striker and club legend, Jason Cowley.

With an incredible 107 goals in 127 appearance for the Rouslers, the 24 year old striker is Sporting’s all time top scorer, playing a pivotal role in so many of the club’s successes, including our 2016/17 FA Vase run, our 2017/18 MFL Premier title win and our 2018/19 play-off final victory over Corby Town.

On the return of Jason, a delighted Bren Kelly, manager, commented: “This deal could not have happened without our chairman, Mike Burke. To the extremely small minority that constantly question and challenge our chairman, please take notice of this action.

“His ambition matches mine and it’s quite clear he wants the club to progress. It has taken many man hours and patience to bring Jason home, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it.

“What’s imperative for Jason now is that he is playing regular and scoring goals. It’s a huge coup for the club and strengthens our squad massively.

“I’ve stayed in touch with Jason on an almost daily basis since he left for Stevenage and I only want the best for him. I’ve no doubt he will progress further again but, for now, he’s a Rousler, and I’m over the moon, as many others will be that he has returned.”

We are sure you will join us in re-welcoming Super Jase to the Victoria Ground!
