Colts U14’s Win County Cup

The U14’s lads did Sporting proud today with a great performance against Nunnery Wood in the County Cup final. We started well but could see their nerves hadn’t settled for the first 10 minutes and Nunnery Wood looking dangerous with their long ball game. The boys soon took control of the game and started to move the ball brilliantly using every inch of the pitch. We were rewarded with the opener as Ronaldo Ramirez took his chance superbly. This was quickly followed with a tidy finish by Freddy Brookes to see take control but that was short lived when an error allowed Nunnery back into the game. HT 2-1.

2nd half was similar to the first with Sporting dominating possession but Nunnery looking dangerous on the counter. Our pressure ended up beeing too much and Kai Holohan took advantage with a fine effort to see the boys go 3-1. Not long after, his strike partner Ronaldo Ramirez doubled his tally for the day. The day was topped off with a cracking strike from Kai Holohan and earning him a brace and taking his Goal tally to 40 for the season.
Full Time 5-1.

Absolutely fantastic performance and effort from every single player today and fully deserve to be crowned County Cup Winners 2023 🏆
