Development

Six games were played, resulting in four wins and two defeats

Saturday

– MJPL (TE) D B A 1 U11 Colts Reds 3: A very physical game saw Colts progress, the scorers were Jack Bate 2 & George Leghorn. MOM was Jack Bate, in what was definitely the best performance so far.

– MJPL (L) U16 Colts Reds 6 Brackley Town Juniors 0: Colts stepped up a gear to destroy Brackley, in a fantastic performance all round. A hat trick for Wykesey & goals from Ash, Ryan & a screamer from Jack, in his home debut, saw Colts win comfortably. MOM was too hard to have just one, so Wykesey & Nash. Unbelievable performances from both players.

– MJPL (L) U17 Colts Reds 1 Studley Junior Bees 1: Zac Phelan was on target for Colts.

Sunday

– CWYFL (C) U8 Colts 0 Solihull West 2, Solihull Moors 0 U8 Colts 1, Solihull West 0 Solihull Moors 1
Solihull Moors won group on penalties, Louis Trevithick scored for Colts

– CWYFL (C) U8 Colts Red 1 Maypole Utd 5, Cadbury Ath 2 U8 Colts Red 1, Maypole Utd 0 Cadbury Ath 1
Cadbury Ath win the group.

– CWYFL (C) U9 Colts Whites 2 Rubery Juniors 3: Juniors won with a goal that possibly should not of been. Colts stopped when a Junior player went down allowing them to run through and score unchallenged, so Colts learnt a valuable lesson in always playing to the whistle.

– CWYFL (C) U10 Colts 3 Hillfield A F C 3 (Colts win 4-2 on penalties): Goals from Max Hinks (x2) & Alfie Whittle, MOM Charlie Schwarm. Penalties Lexi Kinerhan, Harvey Steele, Max Hinks & Charlie Schwarm.

– CWYFL (L) AFC Chelmsley Boys 0 U12 Colts 4: Colts put in a great performance in difficult conditions. Goalscorers Ollie Collins, Olly White, Kaelan Cole & an own goal. MOM for a very good performance in midfield Owen Tilley.

– CWYFL (L) U13 Colts Athletic 9 Highgate Utd Youth 0: Goals Harvey Nolan (x2), Corey Shipway (x2), Liam Livesey (x2), Malcolm Tuete Kanga (x2) & Mathew Megahey.

– (WCC) (SF) U18 Colts Shamrocks 1 Meadow Park Youth 3: Match played on a very poor pitch which was waterlogged, but both teams tried to play football.
