COACHING STAFF: New additions

Bromsgrove Sporting manager Bren Kelly has made two new additions to his coaching staff.

IAN KING – ASSISTANT MANAGER/FIRST TEAM COACH

Ian King is a retired English football player and now currently works as a coach. During his professional career, he played as a midfielder at professional clubs in England, Australia, and Malaysia.

His most notable teams include Aston Villa, Stoke City, Rushden and Diamonds, Stevenage, Nuneaton Borough, Kettering Town, APIA Leichhardt Tigers and FC Keda.

King played 422 times, scoring 89 goals in all competitive league and cup competitions during his playing career, which spanned from his first professional contract at 18 years of age to his last competitive game at 40.

Since retiring as a player in 2012, King has worked as a manager and coach at Sydney FC, Birmingham City, Leamington, Daventry Town and Northampton Town.

Adam Marusiak – Goalkeeping coach

Adam Marusiak started his career with Worcester City and then went onto play for Bromsgrove and Tividale, amongst other clubs.

He spent two years working with the goalkeepers for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Development Centre, before moving to America for four years and working in various States including Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.

He continued his coaching career back in England with Redditch United and, most recently, Alvechurch.

We are sure you will join us in welcoming both Ian and Adam to the VG!
