COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Stratford Town

Ahead of Saturday’s league match, at Stratford Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, as well as reflecting on some positive squad news, a couple of dual registrations and the travelling support…

“Tomorrow, we head to Stratford for what promises to be an exciting local derby. Stratford have been on a very good run of form, so we expect a difficult game. However, on the back of Saturday’s win versus Royston, we will go there full of confidence as we look to take another three points.

“It’s been a busy week behind the scenes – I’m pleased to say that we’ve brought Ryan Pratt on board as our goalkeeping coach. Ryan is young, very enthusiastic and wants to constantly improve himself – exactly the sort of character I want to have around.

“Ryan Snape and Bo Morris have both gone out on dual registrations, to Stourport Swifts and Pershore Town respectively – this well help aid their developments and I look forward to seeing how they get on.

“In other news, I’m pleased to announce that Harry Crook and Carter Lycett have both turned down approaches from other clubs to remain here, which is a huge boost for the group going forward.

“The togetherness in the group is growing game by game, which was evident in the last 10 minutes against Royston, with everyone digging in to take home the three points.

“I’m so pleased to hear that we have virtually filled an entire supporters coach for our game tomorrow. The support means so much and we will do our best, and give 100%, to give you something to cheer for.

“If there are still spaces left as I write this, get yourself on board! I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.”
