COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Harborough Town

Ahead of Saturday’s league match at Harborough Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has reflected on recent results and looked ahead to the imposing task at hand here…

“Firstly, I just want to say thank you for your support on Tuesday night. It was a real physical battle and the lads gave absolutely everything to get the three points.

“In contrast to Saturday’s game against Bury, it was a very different type of match. On the whole, I thought we performed better with the ball against Bury, but only came away with a point. However, I thought our defensive display on Tuesday night was outstanding.

“On Saturday, we make the journey to top of the league Harborough. We’re under no illusion that it will be a difficult game, but we’ll go into it with a fearless attitude to try and take maximum points.

“As a manager, I want to play against the best and I enjoy the challenge. Mitch (Austin) is a top manager and, along with his staff, they have built an excellent side.

“Thanks again for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
