COACHES’ CORNER: Paul Smith Previews Stamford

Ahead of today’s league match at Stamford (3:00 KO), manager Paul Smith talks about the game, the opposition and recent matches…

“Another tough away game at Stamford today- I’ve had some great battles with Graham and Stamford over the years.

“He’s a manager I have a lot of respect for; his sides are always big and strong, and nine times out of ten they are towards the top end of tables.

“This will be another very tough challenge, where we will need to match their physicality to get anything out of the game.

“Our last two performances have been strong, against two very good sides – athough we are in the midst of a very tough run of fixtures, if they remain at those levels, I’m sure we will start picking points up again soon.”
