COACHES’ CORNER: Paul Smith Previews Biggleswade Town

Ahead of Saturday’s league match, away at Biggleswade Town (3:00 KO), manager Paul Smith has spoken about the match and the squad. He starts with reflections on our recent FA Cup success…

“A fantastic game and result in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening sends us down to Biggleswade tomorrow in good spirits.

“They too won their cup replay, so will be in a similarly buoyant mood no doubt.

“I was really pleased over the last two games with how the boys found a way to get a result. They are improving as a group, week on week, and the togetherness, which is crucial, continues to build.

“Squadwise, Jack Newell is a doubt with a hamstring issue while, paperwork permitting, Charlie Wragg may me back available.

“Let’s hope we can produce a performance similar to Tuesday as, if we do, it will go a long way to us getting a positive result.”
