COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Hednesford Town

Ahead of Tuesday’s Pitching In Southern League Premier Central match, at home to Hednesford Town (7:45 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture.

“My friend Keenan Meakin-Richards and Hednesford come to town tomorrow. Both teams are looking to bounce back to winning ways, after the Pitmen lost 2-1 at Leiston on Saturday afternoon.

“We certainly owe them one from last time out, where we got soundly beaten at Keys Park. The lads have been recovering well since Saturday and are eager to perform well and win.

“This is a different test to the one we faced on Saturday but, at home, with the fans behind us, we are confident.

“I urge all fans, as always, to bring the noise. It really does make a difference to us, especially under the lights of a night game!”
