The Bromsgrove Sporting board has announced today that it has taken the decision to part company with manager Scott Adey-Linforth.
Chairman Rod Brown commented: “We would like to thank Scott for all his hard work and effort during his time with us – especially managing to keep us up last season following Paul Smith’s departure.
“We would also wish to thank Scott assistants, Richard Batchelor and Karl Fellows, for all their efforts too.
“We feel that we sit in a precarious position, similar to that of just over a year ago.
“We have therefore secured the services of Tim Flowers as our new manager, officially commencing his role on Monday 15th December.Â
“We worked with Tim previously as an interim manager for three months, following Michael McGrath’s departure. Then, he managed, against the odds, to keep us up that year. Tim comes with a vast amount of experience at levels Step One, Two and Three, plus strong recruitment expertise.Â
“Tim will be present at Saturday’s fixture against Real Bedford, but only to observe. The team will be managed by club captain Ash Carter and Stuart Carson, our U21s manager, aided by our Director of Football Iain Queen.”
