Charlie Poole

We are very sad to report the passing of former Bromsgrove Rovers president and chairman, Charlie Poole.

Charlie was heavily involved with Rovers for several decades carrying out many roles and responsibilities. He was also a qualified referee as well as serving on Football Association and Worcestershire FA committees.

By the time Bromsgrove Sporting was formed, Charlie was finding it more difficult to get around and was only able to help a little in the early days though he was a regular supporter for several seasons.

The funeral is likely to be early next month and will be made public once confirmed.

Our condolences and sympathies go to his wife, Carole and his family.
