At last month’s win over Sudbury, we welcomed Carina and Chantelle from Chadsgrove School, who are raising funds to develop their learning and play area.
£181.62 was collected on the day via a collection, with club sponsor Elliott Nash also kindly donating £1000 to the cause!
The £1000 cheque was given to the school by club captain Aaron Roberts and manager Tim Flowers, who made a special visit and met pupils (see the photo at the head of this article!)
Chadsgrove’s school playground is in urgent need of a major refurbishment. Much of the existing equipment is broken or inaccessible, meaning it has been unusable for many years and does not meet the needs of our pupils.
Their vision is to completely transform this space into a fully inclusive, accessible playground where every child can play, learn, and thrive. To achieve this, the school plans to remove all current equipment, including the flooring and grass mound, to create an open, level area that is safe and accessible for all pupils.

A Chadsgrove spokesperson said: “We thank Sporting so much for their support. This will help make a real difference for our pupils.
“We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown.”
