CAPTAIN KING: A Message to the Fans

Following the departure of Luke Rowe, the captaincy of Bromsgrove Sporting has naturally gone to Reece King, who had previously held the position of vice captain. His first game as the official team captain was at Monday night’s magnificent win over Barwell.

Following that, he has written this message to our fans, as the club looks forward to Saturday’s home game against Sudbury…

“Monday’s win was massive. It was our first game without Luke Rowe, who has been such a huge character for this club. He’s going to be a big miss, on and off the pitch, but getting that result showed the fight and togetherness we have in the squad.

“On a personal note, leading this team as captain is a huge honour. Actually living in Bromsgrove, I know what this club means to so many people, and I couldn’t be prouder to wear the armband.

“The passion, the hard work, the commitment – it’s all there, and we want to make sure we show that every time we step onto the pitch.

“This Saturday, we’re back at home against Sudbury, and we need everyone behind us. It’s going to be a tough game, but with the support of our incredible fans, we know we can make it a fortress.

“Let’s keep the momentum from Monday night’s unbelievable scenes going! See you all there – Up the Rouslers!”
