AARON ROBERTS: New Captain

Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce that defender Aaron Roberts has been named as our new captain.

The fans favourite, who is the club’s record attendance holder with an incredible 349 appearances, has worn the captain’s armband at previous clubs, including Alvechurch, Worcester City and Evesham United.

On taking on the captaincy, Aaron commented: “After what has been a hectic few weeks for the club, the dust finally seems to be settling and I feel privileged the gaffer has chosen me to be club captain.

“I’ve always liked to think that I play the game with leadership, in terms of both being vocal and my playing style, and I look forward to leading the team on and off the pitch, using my experience to help push us back up the table and start picking up some valuable points.”

We hope you will join us in congratulating Aaron on becoming our captain!
