Development

Two development games finished in a draw and a defeat

Saturday

– (L) Tattenhoe FC 3 U16 Colts Reds 1: The lads played really well against a strong, well organised team, who have been walking over their opponents. Being 0-2 down, Colts halved the deficit with 20 minutes to go and pushed on for an equaliser but got caught on the break in the final minute. Goal from Deacon Dempster-Jones, MOM Nashon Dawson, who worked hard and battled well in midfield to overturn possession.

– (L) U17 Colts Reds 1 AFC Rushden & Diamonds 0: A hard battle with a last minute winner from Luke Brown, no MOM

Sunday

– (C) Sutton Coldfield Town 2 U8 Colts 6: Colts progress to the finals of the Winter Cup, goals from Harry Ashman (x3), Louis Trevithick (x2) & an own goal, MOM Finlay James.

– (C) U8 Colts Reds played two games, beating Kings Heath Concorde 2-1, with Charlie Davies & Blake McTauge scoring and drawing with Catshill Lions 2-2, Blake McTauge & Jimmy Gaffney with the goals. The whole squad got MOM.

– (C) U11 Colts 16 Solihull Superstars 0: Goalscorers Jack Bate (x5), Mickey Senior (x3), Ryley Haddock (x2), Harrison Biddlestone (x2), Cian Alwright, Charlie Ellson, Ben Jackson & Alfy Leadbetter. Whole team MOM.

– (C) Sutton Town Panthers 4 U11 Colts Reds 5: Scorers Joe Mullins (x2), Alfie Evans, Ethan Evans & Samsu Ndong. MOM Ethan Evans.

– (L) Phoenix Rangers Youth 1 U13 Colts Athletic 0: A game to forget. MOM Jayden.

– (L) Bartley Reds 3 U15 Colts 2: Colts should have won this game but unfortunately things didn’t quite go their way. MOM Luke Resuggen.

– (L) U16 Colts Whites 4 Solihull U N 4: Goals from Kian Halley, Evan Close & Jack Hopper
