Below is the latest round-up of the season featuring the freshest news from both our U21s and new U18s sides, from Matt Tennant, with both sides encountering wet weekends last time out…
It’s been an unusually quiet week for Bromsgrove Sporting’s development teams, as both the Under-21s and Under-18s teams had their games cancelled.
Last Saturday’s Under-21s home game against Stafford Rangers was called off due to a waterlogged pitch following heavy rainfall carried in by Storm Austen.
The match was called off on Friday evening following a pitch inspection and expectations of further wet weather.
Days later, Sporting’s Under-18s also had their home match cancelled, as Bedworth United U21s were unable to field a team.
This weekend…
The team’s will go again, starting with the Under-21s on Saturday (31st October) when they welcome AFC Worcester Firsts to the UK Electrical Stadium in a cup game – with a later 2:00pm kick off.
The action continues on Monday when Bromsgrove’s Under-18s face Oldbury at The UK Electrical Stadium with a 7.45pm kick off.
