We are delighted to display the winning entries of our ‘Design a Flag‘ competition at the Shed End of the UK Electrical Stadium for the upcoming season!
The initiative was launched back in May, in which fans had the opportunity to design a flag based around Sporting, using ideas and images from our history, whilst also giving them a modern twist.
These competition winners will feature across the back wall of our famous Shed End – a huge thank you to everyone who took part in this competition.
These flags are just one of the many improvements that have been made to our UK Electrical Stadium over the summer – including extensive renovation work throughout the ground and, of course, our new on-site Hangry Moose restaurant.
It has been fantastic to see so many members of our local community, along with pupils from our local schools, getting involved and showing their creativity. The standard of entries has been incredible, making the judging no easy task!
Congratulations to all of our winners, whose designs have been turned in real flags. A couple of our winners have already made their way over to the stadium to have pictures with their flag designs.
A delighted Bella said: “My flag design has a football in the middle, with football boots, and says Bromsgrove Sporting – I hope everybody likes it!”
An equally delighted Bessie can be seen below with her modern flag design, using bubble writing and displaying our new Bromsgrove Sporting crest.
Speaking to the club, Bessie’s mom Claudia, said: “Bessie is so excited that she has won and is very proud of herself!”
Fans will be able to get a first glimpse in person at our new flags during our first home preseason friendly on Saturday 25th July, when we host Cymru Premier side Trefelin at the UK Electrical Stadium.
