First Team

LADIES

  • Last weekend, the Ladies faced Worcester City Reserves at the University of Worcester and lost 3-0
  • This Sunday, the Ladies are back at the UK Electrical Stadium, for a rearranged County Cup match versus Wyre Forest Phoenix (2:00 KO) – UPDATE: THIS GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED, AS WYRE FOREST WERE UNABLE TO FIELD A TEAM. SPORTING PROGRESS TO THE NEXT ROUND.

LADIES DEVELOPMENT

  • Last weekend, the Devs travelled to Wyre Forest Phoenix and lost 4-2, with Amelia and Vicky scoring the Sporting goals.

GIRLS

  • U9s: They played at home to Droitwich last weekend – Connie captained, goals came from Emilia, Amelie and Blayke, whilst Player of the Match went to Rosie.
  • U10s: They played away at Droitwich last weekend – Emily was Player of the Match for her relentless effort and fantastic attitude, in what was her best performance of the season so far. This weekend, they’re at home to Inkberrow.
  • U11s: They played away at Kinver last weekend – Cecilia scored and Player of the Match went to Bella. This weekend, they face Newtown.
  • U14s: They played Redditch Eagles last weekend in the League Cup and came from 2-1 down to win 4-2. Emilia scored a brace, with Estella and Freya scoring the other goals. Esmee won Player of the Match. This weekend, they entertain Ashton 88 in the league.
  • U18s: They played away at Stratford last weekend and were very unlucky to lose 2-0, having dominated the match. Player of the Match was Fleur.

The Girls set-up are looking to recruit managers and coaches for our proposed new teams next year. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic ladies or gents to get involved in the journey.
