U21s SUMMARY: The Latest News

This article about our U21s side, from Matt Tennant, reflects on a second postponed weekend and this Saturday’s fixture, as they hunt their fourth league win in a row…

Bromsgrove Sporting U21s lost out to the elements once again, as they missed a game due to bad weather for the second week running.

Their scheduled away match against Stafford Rangers U21 was cancelled after a pitch inspection concluded that the pitch was too frozen to play on.

The match has not yet been rescheduled, but check out our Instagram (@bromsgrovesporting_u21dev), X (Twitter @rouslersu21s) and the club’s website for any updates.

This week, Bromsgrove Sporting U21s welcome Stourport Swifts U21s for their first home game of November.

The Swifts boast a healthy six wins, one draw and two losses in the league, placing them 7th in the table on 19 points.

However, they will arrive on Saturday licking their wounds, following an uncharacteristic 1-4 defeat to Sutton United U21 last weekend.

The Rouslers, on the other hand, are still waiting for the chance to extend their winning streak to three in all competitions, after two strong away performances.

Bromsgrove are currently 11th in the table on fifteen points, but after two weeks off, will the home side be caught off guard or will this unscheduled break have gifted the side more time to train and grow in confidence?

Find out this weekend when Sporting U21s welcome Stourport Swifts U21 to the UK Electrical Stadium on Saturday 29th November at 10:30am.
