Ahead of Tuesday’s league match at Quorn (7:45 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition and Saturday’s win, along with providing management and injury updates…

“On Tuesday night, we make another trip to Leicestershire, for a difficult game against Quorn.

“Since being promoted, Quorn have enjoyed an excellent start to the season, meaning tomorrow will be a really big task.

“Saturday’s performance against Barwell was really pleasing and I was delighted to come away with not only the three points, but another clean sheet.

“It’s no secret we conceded a lot of goals in the first few fixtures, so to keep two clean sheets on the bounce shows progress.

“If you came to Barwell, you may have seen a new addition to my staff, as Matt Ballard has re-joined the club as goalkeeper coach.

“I’m buzzing to have him here – he’s a top coach and a top person, who knows the club well.

“Finally, on the injury front, Luke Benbow is still a few weeks away but is making good progress, whilst Jack Kelly is likely to be out for a little bit longer.

“I look forward to seeing you tomorrow – as always, thank you for your fantastic support.”
