First Team

  • The first team made it back to back victories with a 2-0 win over Barwell on Saturday, before travelling to Leicestershire once again, this time to face Quorn on Tuesday (23rd September).

LADIES

  • Their league opener saw them beat Droitwich Spa Ladies 1-2 last Sunday, thanks to goals from Player of the Match Nat Sabin and Beth Breen.
  • This Sunday, their FA Cup campaign continues, as they travel to Hednesford Town Ladies. Kick off is 2pm and the game is being played at Hednesford’s Keys Park (WS12 2DZ).

GIRLS

Last weekend saw the start of the season for the girls section at Sporting, featuring lots of new faces in all of the teams!

  • U9s: A home match versus Newtown this weekend.
  • U10s: Against Welland Junior Warriors U10s last weekend, they put in a fantastic team performance. Player of the Match went to Kyra, and the girls should be incredibly proud of their first home game of the season. This weekend – a trip to Droitwich.
  • U11s: A trip to Inkberrow this weekend.
  • U14s: A 13-0 victory over Wolverley U14 Girls last weekend – goals from Immy (x4 – Player of the Match), Freya (x2), Layla Tandy (x2), Emilia, Mai, Roisin, Olivia and Esmee. This weekend – a trip to Worcester City.
  • U18s: They travelled to Solihull Moors last weekend, narrowly losing 3-2 in a pulsating encounter between two strong teams. Persia scored Bromsgrove’s first goal. This weekend, they played Lane Head.
