COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Alvechurch

They proudly operate Bromsgrove Sport & Leisure Centre in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council.

Ahead of Tuesday night’s league match at Alvechurch (7:45 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about Saturday’s match, the opposition we face and our support…

“Tomorrow, we make the short journey to Alvechurch. Saturday was obviously not the way we wanted to start the season and I’m so pleased we’ve got a game so quickly to put it right.

“We were disappointed as a group that we didn’t perform to the levels we know we can in our first home game of the season; that being said, I thought we missed some big chances at key times which, on another day, could’ve swung the result in our favour.

“Alvechurch will never be an easy test and we expect a very difficult match at Lye Meadow, especially as they come into the game off a solid point away at Stamford.

“I just want to place on record my thanks for your fantastic support on Saturday and I apologise that we didn’t put in a performance to match.

“I’m buzzing the season is back underway and I’m looking forward to seeing you Tuesday night.”
