COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Biggleswade Town

  • We are delighted to announce that, as part of an exciting partnership, Coaches’ Corner will be sponsored by Everyone Active Bromsgrove.
  • Everyone Active is the UK’s longest running leisure operator with over 250 facilities nationwide. It’s their mission to get everybody doing at least 30 minutes of activity, five times a week. Whether you’re into swimming, going to the gym, taking on a group exercise class, or enjoying activities with the whole family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. They proudly operate Bromsgrove Sport & Leisure Centre in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council.

Ahead of Friday’s league match, at home to Biggleswade Town (1:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, the squad and the need for a big following…

“Tomorrow is the first of three huge matches for us, as we come towards the end of the season.

“Biggleswade have our full respect and won’t be taken lightly. Even though they’ve already been relegated, their performances of late have been good, including a 1-1 draw against Redditch last week.

“They’re a hard team to beat and we have to be at our best if we want to take maximum points. As we have seen in this league, anyone can beat anyone, so we must be fully focused.

“We come into the game on the back of a competitive game away at Royston. It was a real game of two halves, where we were disappointed to lose having lead 1-0 at the break.

“I’m pleased to say the squad is looking strong. Over the past few weeks, we’ve had various players carrying knocks, with some playing through pain and others not able to at all.

“The commitment of the squad has been fantastic and they’re raring to go this weekend.

“Your support over the final three games will be massive and will play a big part in getting us over that finish line.”
