Before Saturday’s draw with Hitchin Town, attacker Jamie Meddows marked winning Player of the Month for December with his sponsor for the season – Sporting fan Andrew Clarke, of Spartan Hot Tub Hire.
Jamie won December Player of the Month with 45% of the vote, seeing off fierce competition from Fin Holmes, Ash Carter and Carter Lycett.
Incredible performances in our home wins against Royston and Stourbridge, in which he scored in both, were undoubtedly factors in the talented left-footer winning the award.
Reflecting on winning the award, Jamie commented: “To the wonderful Rouslers fans – thank you to everyone who voted for me for Player of the Month – I’m delighted to win it! It was a great month, with three wins and one draw against some top teams. Let’s keep it going!”
