PLAYER NEWS: Mussa moves on

We can announce that Gift Mussa has decided to leave Sporting.

Manager Bren Kelly commented: “Gift has been superb since I signed him. I chased him for two years and he is a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately for us, Gift has had an offer that is very difficult for him to turn down.

“Sometimes you lose good players to better offers elsewhere and this is one of them. The door is always open for him should his new venture not work out.

“It doesn’t leave us short, as we have some brilliant midfielders at the club. There is also some good news to follow in the next 24 – 48 hours.”
