COACHES’ CORNER: Andy Mason previews Stourbridge

Ahead of our home league match versus Stourbridge on New Year’s Day (3:00 KO), assistant manager Andy Mason has previewed the fixture, with a focus on preparations ahead of the match.

“First of all, I’d like to wish a Happy New year to all of our Sporting supporters as we close 2019, which was a very good year for the club.

“Although this is a game we are all looking forward to, we have prepared in the same way we always do.

“We were in training over the weekend and had a very good, upbeat session.

“This is just another game that we will be doing everything we can to win, as we try to extend our unbeaten run.

“Stourbridge will be another tough team coming to the VG, but we will respect them, not fear them, in what will be a great contest.

“I look forward to seeing you all there and we all hope we can rely on your wonderful, continued support.”
