Alvechurch 1 (Timson 7')
Bromsgrove Sporting 2 (Benbow 88', Hall 90+3')
There was a hefty serving of late drama at Lye Meadow on Tuesday evening, as Bromsgrove Sporting bagged twice at the death to beat Alvechurch.
The home side took the lead on a swelteringly hot evening via a Nile Timson header after seven minutes.
As the clocked ticked and it seemed as though Bromsgrove would fall to successive league defeats, Luke Benbow and substitute Kobe Hall both netted to send the Sporting faithful into delirium.
Sporting stopper Adam Harrison was called into action after five minutes, keeping out an Elliot Dugan strike from point blank range with his foot.
Two minutes later, the deadlock was broken, as Timson's header crawled over the line before a Sporting defender had the chance to clear it.
Harrison made a good save from another Dugan strike after 30 minutes, before dealing with a Jonathan Ngandu effort seconds later.
Alvechurch's Ethan Sephton almost doubled the lead just before half time, but his stunning effort from 25 yards flew just over the bar.
More chances came the way of Church in the early stages of the half, with Callum Sullivan hitting the post from inside the area before a spectacular strike from Jessy Bavanganga looked destined for the top corner before Harrison palmed it away in style.
Sporting's first meaningful chance of the game came 67 minutes in, as a Benbow header from a Jack Kelly cross was well kept out by the glove of Alvechurch stopper Redman Evans.
A minute later, Ngandu struck the post with a shot that had to be frantically cleared to prevent it going over the goal line.
Alvechurch's Shay Willock headed over from close range after 70 minutes; these missed chances would go on to haunt them, as Benbow knocked in the rebound following an Evans save from a Hall header after 88 minutes before Hall would score the winner three minutes into added time.
His left footed strike from the edge of the area found the bottom corner of the goal, to cap what would prove to be a memorable evening for the Rouslers.
