WEDNESDAY WORDS: Jason Cowley

This week’s Wednesday Words sees the Sporting striker talk about the Kempston Rovers victory of Saturday just gone, with a look ahead to our two next fixtures, those being Cambridge City (Saturday, away) and Sutton Coldfield (Boxing Day, home).

“Hi all… where do I start after last Tuesday’s defeat to Worcester? We simply had to put things right – I thought Saturday was brilliant from everyone involved, especially to all the loyal fans that were behind the goal in the horrendous conditions.

“The lads were class all over the park from start to finish. It has felt good to get on the score sheet lately and I can’t wait to score many more.

“We will be in training this week, preparing right for the games coming up because Saturday against Cambridge City is another big game.

“We want to stick to winning ways to stay top of the league, because one mistake could cost us in this league – it is that tight at the top.

“Boxing Day is going to be a cracker; one that you won’t want to miss, with Sutton Coldfield coming to the VG.

“I hope to see and hear the Shed rocking like always!

“Hope everyone has a great Christmas, because I know all the boys will be having a few tots… just not telling the gaffer!

“Love you all, Cowls.”
