Wednesday Words this week comes courtesy of defender Jack Wilson; he talks our two most recent results versus Aylesbury and Thame United, as well as preparations for our next game on 1st December and the birth of his baby daughter.
“We have had a decent few days, picking up 4 points from 6 – maximum at home and one on the road last night.
“Saturday was a comfortable win and the squad loved playing in front of such a big crowd – it really is class at this level considering there was next to no away support.
“The win Saturday gave us good confidence going to Thame last night and for Charlie to score a worldie late on was worth the travelling.
“The club are still new to this level but we are all enjoying it and I feel the lads are stepping up to the test very well.
“We have some very important sessions now to prepare for the game at home with Didcot and then some tough December fixtures.
“We know what we are capable of and we always do our best to get positive results and achieve them by playing good football .
“Personally, I would like to thank all the best wishes and congratulations I received following the birth of my new baby daughter.
“And as per usual, the supporters – you are pure class.”
