This Monday (11th November) our Under 18s are in action, at the Victoria Ground, versus Halesowen Town U18s, in a 4th vs 3rd clash (7:45 KO).
With our first team not in action over the weekend, with the next game not until Saturday (16th), why not get your football fix by taking in an U18s game?
U18s manager Alan Horton has previewed the season thus far…
“Our start of the season saw us decimated by injuries, with no strikers for the first three games.
“But, the last four games has seen us take 10 points, with a local derby versus Halesowen Town coming up next.
“We now lie fourth in the table, after beating Solihull, Stratford and Evesham and drawing with league leaders Worcester City last Monday; this was a game we deserved to win, but conceded in injury time.
“Striker Sam Collins has found the net in the last four games and has been a very good acquisition to the U18s from WBA College. As has Lucas Peterkin and our very own Owain Taylor has been selected for first team duty and has done extremely well.
“There is a lot of talent within the U18s and you wouldn’t be disappointed if you came and took a look.
“So give us a go on Monday – we look forward to seeing you all.”
