Our sports therapist Faye Westlake talks about recent matches versus Peterborough Sports and Worcester City, plus she looks ahead to our next couple of fixtures and her life at Sporting thus far, a club she joined at the start of the season.
“Tuesday was a very frustrating game to watch for us as staff on the sideline and for the players themselves, just being inches away from the post on many chances near the end.
“However, I do wish Worcester the best in the final against Highgate.
“Well, last saturday was an eye opening game – two brilliant sides fighting it out till the last minute, with a perfect finish from us, which showed how well the team fought throughout the overall game.
“Peterborough are one of the favourites in this league, so the fact we showed them they have competition and that we have great character was something else.
“Not to mention the fans singing till the 90th minute – the club really do have some great fans.
“Up until Christmas, we have some long journeys in the form of Kempston and Cambridge, but going into these games will be no different to any other and hopefully coming away with three points and no injuries in time for christmas.
“I have enjoyed my time at Bromsgrove so far. All the staff, players and fans have welcomed me into the club so well.
“I look forward to the upcoming months and future with Bromsgrove.”
