STAFF NEWS: Experienced Ross Thorpe joins coaching team

Bromsgrove Sporting manager Bren Kelly has moved to add Ross Thorpe to his coaching staff, who most recently held the position as head of coaching at Cheltenham Town FC.

Ross, who has previously been assistant manager at Chester FC, holds UEFA A & UEFA B licences and has also had coaching roles with Birmingham City Women’s Team and Nottingham University Women’s Team.

He has an extremely good knowledge of the local area, having also worked with Alvechurch and Sutton Coldfield in the past.

Bren Kelly commented: “I’ve known Ross a long time now and he will be invaluable to us in helping me implement my ideas to the squad – both technically and tactically.

“His training sessions are excellent and I have been looking for a coach for a while; it needed to be the right fit and Ross is just that.

“His CV speaks for itself and I’m pleased he has joined us.”
