Bromsgrove Sporting came back from Herefordshire after a battling 3-3 draw against a tough Westfields side at Allpay Park.
The Bromsgrove lads will be a little disappointed not to have held out for the win after taking the lead 3 times only to be pegged back on each occasion.
Sean Brain gave the Rouslers the lead when his deft header from a right wing corner found the far corner, Westfields drew level on the stroke time when defender Matt Sysum converted from a free kick on the left side of the penalty area.
The returning Jason Cowley restored Bromsgrove’s lead in the 53rd. minute when he latched on to a ball and coolly beat the Westfields custodian from 18 yards.
Mark Magee levelled again in the 77th. minute only for Connor Deards to restore Bromsgrove’s lead 2 minutes later, just when it looked like the Rouslers would hold onto the win up popped centre half Phil Glover to equalise again in the 3rd. minute of added on time after he had been pushed forward in an attempt to get an equaliser.
Bromsgrove travel to Highgate United on Saturday, hoping they can return to winning ways on their travels. Kick off at the Coppice is 3pm
