Fan arrangements

In reply to some questions being asked RE – segregation; there will not be any segregation for the game.

Of course, Worcester are no strangers to the Rouslers, having played them twice in the Midland Football League Premier Division last season, gaining four points from six (including a 2-1 win in April that majorly helped steer Sporting to MFL glory).

This season, Worcester currently sit 8th in the MFL Premier, accruing 33 points from 20 games (leaders Ilkeston Town have 46 points from the same amount of games).

Worcester did enjoy a 15 match unbeaten run in all competitions across the end of August, September and most of October, which included a run of six straight league wins.

However, since that unbeaten run ended (courtesy of a 1-0 home league defeat to Sporting Khalsa on October 27th), City have found points harder to come by, picking up only five from a possible 18 (including the Khalsa match).

Worcester beat Pershore Town 2-0 away to get to this semi final (Sporting beat Stourport Swifts 5-0 at Walshes Meadow).

Food bank collection

Following on from Saturday’s food bank collection, this will be continued at this game. Click here for ideas of what to bring.

Over 200 items were generously donated at the Peterborough Sports game for local food banks, enabling some people around Bromsgrove to have a better Christmas than what they may have expected otherwise.

The food bank operating out of Catshill Baptist Church, one of the beneficiaries of the donations, said they were ‘very grateful’ for the donations.

As well as donations being accepted during the Worcester game, the Victoria Ground will be open at the following dates and times this week for donations too.

  • Tuesday 12-5
  • Wednesday 10-4
  • Friday 10-12 & 1:30-4

Items can be deposited on the wooden table by the turnstiles. They will be collected up each day and when there are enough, they will taken to the food banks across Bromsgrove.
