MATCH PREVIEW: Info ahead of Saturday’s visit to Peterborough Sports

Ahead of Saturday’s Southern League Premier Central visit to Peterborough Sports (3:00 KO), here is some information to prepare you for the fixture.

The two teams played out two brilliant games last season. The first was on 8th December 2018, where Sporting won 4-3 at the Victoria Ground, in what was an absolute classic. Goals from Charlie Dowd, Jason Cowley, Richard Gregory & a last gasp winner from William Shorrock helped guide the Rouslers to a famous victory.

Our second game of last season against Peterborough Sports was on 23rd February 2019, where first half goals from Jason Cowley and Kieren Westwood ensured Sporting would do the double over the Turbines, in what a solid, battling display.

We have received the following from Peterborough Sports.

“Please note that there are parking restrictions in place that will require you to enter your car registration at the bar via a tablet provided or in the committee room – someone will point you in the right direction.

“When doing so, please select the event option which will cover you for the duration of your stay. This will also include any coaches or mini buses.”
