Bromsgrove Sporting and Worcester City today concluded negotiations for Worcester City to ground share the Victoria Ground for another season and issued the following joint press release:
The board of directors of Worcester City Football Club and Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club are pleased to announce that after amicable negotiations, an agreement has been reached for Worcester City to groundshare with Bromsgrove Sporting for next season with an option for a further year if so required.
Worcester City are of the opinion that this arrangement has been a success and that under the circumstances remains the best option for both first team football and their fans in terms of playing surface, overall facilities and match day experience and they are grateful to Bromsgrove Sporting for their continued support.
Bromsgrove Sporting are also pleased with the arrangement and are looking forward to hosting their Worcestershire rivals for another season.
As the agreement has been concluded today, well in advance of deadlines, Worcester City have now applied for entry into the FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Youth Cup for next season.
Bromsgrove Sporting have already submitted their application for these competitions.
Applications are subject to FA approval which if successful is expected around July.
