The Victoria Ground will be open again this Tuesday (and every Tuesday for the foreseeable future) from 11am to 12pm, for anybody wanting to drop anything off for our foodbank collection.
We opened the Victoria Ground twice last week (w/b 23rd March) to accept donations to local food banks.
Our Tuesday morning collection was successful, with six people turning up, including one huge donation of drinks and snacks courtesy of former Bromsgrove District councillor Rory Shannon, who collected surplus food from students at Birmingham University before they went home.
Our Wednesday evening was less popular, so that session is not worth continuing.
Somebody will be there at the Ground and will be keeping a safe distance away. We will have a trolley available so all that needs to be done is tp drop any donations in there.
Donations will then be split between the food banks ran by Catshill Baptist Church and New Starts, Aston Fields.
