FOODBANK COLLECTION: At this Saturday’s game

At this Saturday’s match (30th November) versus Royston Town, we shall be collecting for the local foodbank, to help those in need – particularly families and children over the Christmas and New Year period.

Food items should be non-perishable and can be left at the market stall by the turnstiles. If anybody delivers to the Victoria Ground on non-match days, then donations can be left by the middle turnstile gates on the inside of the ground.

The foodbank is in need of the following items

– Long life food: nothing fresh also, anything for Christmas would be appreciated.

– Staples: Tea, coffee, tins, rice, cereal, pasta, custard, biscuits, tinned food,

– Toiletries: Toilet roll, soap, toothpaste, washing up liquid, nappies, ladies sanitary items

– Something festive?: Christmas puddings, fruit cake, chocolate, sweets, crisps, festive biscuits
